Me, me, me

There’s really nothing in this world that can compare to the feeling of a lazy summer night filled with laughter, sweet tea and the people you love the most. Unless, it’s a fall day filled with that orange and purple blood, great friends and a college rivalry. Or a hot spring afternoon spent at the river, lazily drifting along in a float while your only view is your toes, the water and some trees for miles and miles. I love things that most people don’t understand, the salt water, the pluff mud, the sting of a sunburn and the sand at my toes. I wear flip-flops even when it’s cold outside and I’m pretty sure my blood is salt water and sweet tea. I work hard and play harder and I’m devoted to porch swings, music, friends and family. I am a southern girl, through and through. These palmetto trees and sandy beaches will always be my home. I don’t know where life is going to take me but I know what I’ll never forget.
